I hate feeling disappointed.
I especially hate it when you have worked really hard on something and get disappointing results. How do you motivate yourself to keep going?

In the words of one of my supporters and dear friends:
Enjoy and be encouraged. What you digest now will feed many for the rest of your life.
These words have kept me going despite the academic fatigue I am feeling. The fruit won’t be found in the marks, but on Sunday mornings, and coffee chats, and evenings in friends houses. Those are the results we need to remind ourselves that we should be going for, whatever letter we get on papers.
i know you’re right – but its hard to see the connection between working my butt off for an assessment and all the other stuff.
hehehe… true… the problem of academia…
I just bypassed the problem and pretended that everything I digest is going to feed others…
BTW, rereading my comment, it sounded a little abrupt… apologies
haha! i’ll try and go with that then..
i didn’t find it abrupt so its all good :-)
